Capernaum - כְּפַר נָחוּם

On the north side of the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum (Kfar Naum) was the main city Jesus lived in during his Galilean ministry. A fishing village, roman garrison and agricultural center, Capernaum was a hub of sorts in the region. Jesus chose several of his disciples here including, Peter, Andrew, and Matthew.
